Bobbin mounts, can be used in a wide variety of industrial applications to permit relative movement of suspended mass to the ground, and isolate the effects of noise, vibration and shock. The mountings are available in a large range of sizes with low to high load carrying capacity, and also have standard metric threads of varying lengths. They are most effective when fitted to take loads in shear and compression, but can also be used in pure shear or compression directions.
